Conroe on the Red White Blue

Hit Conroe this morning with the pops for a few hours with the intent to be gone before all the idiots show up. Well launched at daylight and had someone skiing right next to us and could barely see him....it was still dark....thats dedication

Very slow bite today....Last night Conroe had about an inch of rain so there was junk floating everywhere along with the water looking somewhat like nestle quik.....Ended up with 8 fish but only 2 keepers (Conroe and their junk a** 16 inch minimum). I caught fish on spinnerbaits, cranks and ten inch worms. Too muddy for swimbaits, BOOOOOOOO.

Thanks for the report. Any day fishing with Dad is a good day. I was going to avoid the water this weekend all together because of the all of the crazies, but I'm getting the bug so I may hit Somerville tomorrow and try to be off by 10:30.
