Shane and I got up early and headed to LA. looking for a Big Girl....we caught some really nice fish, but not the one we were looking for! Shane will post some pics........topwater bite was good till the sun came up. We hit some new areas to see if we could find some grass, etc. but no luck. My best 5 would have been around 18 pounds....1 about 6# and 2 twins about 4-5 each plus a couple of other keepers. Shane had a couple of nice fish and lost a couple of really nice ones! He may have caught a lake record on a crankbait....he'll fill you in on that one! Almost NO ski boats out to bother us and we left at 1:00. I'm off to New Mexico until next Wed. so ya'll don't bother my fish ;D

Had a good time today. The lake record Bucky was referring to was a huge Redbreast Sunfish. I actually caught three of the jokers today on the same Bandit Baby Bass Crankbait. I caught a few today, but Bucky definitely whipped me...Here are a few of the pics    |

Yep, had a couple of frog fish and Tiki Bamboo too! Shane's possible lake (perch) record looked bigger in person! Ya'll leave my fish alone till i get back.....just kiddin'. Best of luck to those who fish Bastrop on Sat.

You know I'll tell ya the truth BShiff......... ;D I threw two different Swimbaits today looking for a Big Bite but not even a strike. Me and TBag are gonna hit the nightbite on LA. when I get back from N.M.

Bucky I have told ya once and Ill tell ya again......Load up some chumps, come to Conroe and Ill give a schooling on swimbaiting. Or you can wait till the tourney and you can just ask Warren and me how we fished em |

While Bucky was throwing the swimbaits I was chunking a crankbait. I guess I need to change the hooks cuz a couple of nice ones spit that thing right back at me.

How come bucky's fish always look bigger than they are? Blake take it easy on the trash talk, we dont want buck loosing more sleep than he already will.
