I've never been there, but I'm going to Austin today and plan on stopping by there just to check out the ramp. That's about all the pre-fishing I'll be doing!

At least you will get a look at it. I've been told that it's a flipping bite or nothing.

Caught a few and a nice 4 pounder last weekend. It's a pretty nice lake with a lot of grass on the shoreline. There are two multi-lane ramps that are in good condition. I did see a lot of boat trolling and fishing in the middle of the lake. I believe they were fishing for whites or hybrids. With the wind out of the south it was pretty easy to launch. i went a few days earlier when the wind was out of the north and couldn't launch. Having never been there before, I didn't want to fight the waves and try to find fish. Hopefully, the wind will remain out of the south for the next week.

I was out there this morning to take a look around. There is plenty of grass and reeds. The conditions were good and the bite was decent. Hopefully, I can luck into a few again on Saturday.

Pretty much 58 all over the lake. It was 55 last weekend so the water is warming up. The challenge will be to find a fish under 14 inches. I've yet to catch one that small out there.

Saterday looks good with temps in the 70s again. I just want to go fishing. This work thing is killing me.
