Me and mIKE fished the Coleto Bassmasters tournament this weekend. 30 MPH winds and 92 teams made for a tough day of fishing. We started out with top waters and boated 2 keepers in the first 10 minutes and then proceeded to lose the next 10 to 12 fish we had hooked up including a 6 or 7 pounder. But we rebounded we crank baits and rattle traps and finished out the limit by 10:00 am. We then started to upgrade a little with C-rigs including a nice 5.46 pound chunk. We finished 8Th out of the 92 teams with a decent limit of 14.60 pounds. The lake is in great shape and so are the fish. We just couldn't come up with the 28 pounds needed to win. All in all it was a great day of fishing even with the wind as bad as it was. !!!!JUG!!!!
