Lake Dunlap

Me, Bage and ZDawg ventured to Lake Dunlap for a little head to head tourney out of the same boat. We had no idea where to start or where to fish as none of us had been there before. We caught a few keeps, with nothing really over 3 lbs. I held off both fellow Chumps who made a late run, but fell just short (so did their fish), allowing me to slip away with the victory! Personally, I like new lakes, and I think this one would be fun to add to next years list!! We caught them on a variety of baits, including top waters, cranks, plastics........and even Z resorted to a "Bucky Special" after I caught a few on it. I will go back!!

Sounds like y'all had a good time. I would like to give that lake a try. New lakes are always good to add to the tournament list for next year. New lakes for the new tournament of champions would be a great deal. We still have 5 tournaments this year and each one will be a struggle to see who takes home the AOY title. We have some tough lakes coming up and not knowing what the weather has in store for us this summer is going to make it even tougher. Good luck to all my fellow chumps for the rest of the season, I'm looking forward to each and every tournament.
