Well, with the recent rains I had a nightmare that I would miss not seeing the lake 8ft low so I loaded up and ran out there this morning for a couple of hours. Didnt really fish. Didnt have time. I did have a few short strikes though, I guess the front had there jaws shut. Also I didnt have time to slow down, and I didnt put gas in my boat so I was worried I might run out if I ran across the lake.
My main intent was to go out there and find as many of Lewis's brush piles as possible. Lets just say that I left the lake with 49 new way points. It was really cool to see all the stuff I have been fishing over that looks awesome. It was weird that I didnt find the 3 pvc piles I put out 2 yrs ago. They should have been out of the water by 2 feet. I guess someone picked them up and moved them.
Im guessing the lake will rise 2-4ft once all the water from the yeague gets down to the lake. Anyway, I wish I would have had time to actually fish, I couldnt keep my phone from ringing and the gilt of leaving work made me go back to town.

Haven't been able to post in a quite a while. Pullin PVC pipe outta 2yr old lake silt sure tires the ole typing fingers.
Just did hear that a friend weighed in a 10 lb club tournament bass last week on Sommerville. Might have been caught off of PVC.. I don't know?
;D
