Made it out to fayette yesterday to chase the schoolies. Me and brandy in my boat and Bucky and my mom in the triton. There was only one other boat in the cove with us and we soon found out why. The schools stayed up just for a few seconds and were very finicky. I only managed to land two and Bucky landed one missing a couple others. Definitely not the action we've had at fayette in the past!

I ain't had a chance to go to Fayette in a long time. I need to get out there. Did y'all look for deep fish out on the ledges? Looks like I my get a free afternoon one day next week. Not sure if it will be fayette or bastrop.

I could see them schooling out deeper on my graph but me and a jigging spoon just don't get along.

Bage and I went a couple of Monday's ago and had 17. Should have had ALOT more.......for some reason, they just wouldn't get going on Sun. Maybe too much boat traffic that weekend had em spread out. Probably much better during the week! I can't talk about Colton's bag of tricks when I'm behind in the standings!

The last tournament of the year is just around the corner. I'm going to have to step up my game if i want to beat Shad. He has a 5 point lead on me going in to this one but he is going to get my best game next weekend. I am ready for this one. I had a good pre fish but i saw some stuff that should pay off after dark. There is only 4 points separating 6th & 7th place. There is a lot riding on this tournament for all who make the top six.  !!!!JUG!!!! |

The boat is going in the shop tomorrow to hopefully get it running right.
I love the all night action on Lake Austin. Hopefully, I can shake things up and make it more interesting for you guys that are in the running for that 5th and 6th spot!!!

This is definitely going to be the most interesting tourney of the year! All the way from 3 to 7 are all within reach of eachother. But I just gotta make sure I stay ahead of Bucky for family bragging rights! Haha
