Friday the 13th on Lake Somerville

Went out this morning to look for early morning top water areas...Found lily pads in several areas none of them in places that I've caught fish before. Had several blow ups on frog but only hooked one...13.75". Caught a few on buzzbait and Pop'R.

Tried the spinnerbait on windy bank. Crankbait, shakey head, and Carolina Rig-Ended up catching 12 fish total with only 2 keepers.
Fish not really holding in areas where I caught them my last two times out...Lots of shad...bass not really chasing. Lost my two favorite crankbaits

Looks like my boat will be in the shop until Wed..................so, I might be going in "blind".........best of luck to everyone and I hope we bring in a bunch of limits...........

Is it Saturday, yet? We're ready to get on the water!..Thanks to txbucky, zdawg, and Nitro Shane for the help with directions and info. for Wednesday and Saturday....we two rookies can use all the help we can get!
