Next tourney (July)........18th full moon on Lake Austin......8 P.M. to 8 A.M. the next morning.......beat's the heat...beat's the skiers/wakeboarders.......and a true chance to bring in some lunkers..........put it down!! This type of tourney is truly fun......chance to get the late evening bite......then all night to bring in a limit......then the morning bite the next day......It will be a team tourney....... But, during the fall we might have to hit Stillhouse or Coleto or something like that......

HEY HEY HEY No Hating on Bucky......Yes he has won there and yes Bucky might be one of the best night fisherman in the state.....BUT
The guys that always decide what lake and what format all decided on this tournament....It will be july and this means/ 100 degree heat + everybody and their dog and cat will be on the water.
That Friday is a full moon so it worked out perfect....as for the lake, we could have went to fayette but who in the heck wants to fish all night and only have a piece of paper with numbers written on it to show?

The whole idea was to "beat the heat" as the title said........I do love LA, but I did this tourney once before and it was one of the most fun I've ever had........it was a full moon tourney (saw more than one full moon to be exact..........) should be great for everybody..........

What's your location? Our club dues are 20.00 per year and tournaments are 20.00 and 5.00 for big bass.

Its my favorite lake and first opportunity to fish with you all. I am in search of a partner with a boat. Unfortunately I am a non boater but can definately hold my own. basstracker, if you are serious, let us know ASAP. I'll find you a partner. But like Buck said, we do take club dues and it's good for the year. We are 100% payback and some of us pay extra to keep this going. I'll answer questions after you pay up and fish... Z |

I went to LA yesterday with some friends..not to fish..but to play volleyball, yes it was killing me that i didn't have my boat ,but I have never in my life seen sooo many people on a strip of water it was just stupid. and that's on a monday! defenately a good idea to have the tournament at night...can't wait...oh yeah Z, ill have a few cold ones waitin on ice for ya, appreciate the brew and cookin at slumberville.
