Not going dove hunting on Wednesday...Bucky and I are going head to head on Saturday. Don't forget to buy those fishing/hunting licenses.

Lake Somerville was tough. Six anglers fished on the lake and 4 fish were weighed in. Bucky beat me by 7 ounces. We fished 5:00 am until noon. I didn't have my keeper until 11:30.
Colton and Bage both zeroed. Colton advanced on a coin toss.

I am planning on joining the Bass Chumps bass club, do you guys do these
head to head tournaments every year? sounds like a lot of fun!

Welcome to the forum, Brenhambassangler. This is the first time we've fished this format. I think those of us that fished it had a good time. It's been a good way to fish a tournament after our regular season. I'll bet we do something like it again.

Me and Bucky will fight it out on Wednesday to see who will be the champion of the first of what i hope to be many Head to Head competitions. I have really enjoyed fishing this kind of format and hope to be able to start another one in late January. Any feedback or ideas on how the next Head to Head tournament can be more successful would be great. !!!JUG!!! |

The first head to head is in the books. Me and bucky went at it last Wednesday and i came out on top with a nice limit of fish. The fishing was vary good that night with lots of fish caught. I caught over 50 fish and buck said he caught at least 25 or 30. I am looking forward to next years club tournaments and the next head to head match. !!!!JUG!!! |
