Sup chumps....Im finally gettin to pull my boat away from columbus and bringing it with me to Austin ;D. Which now makes Travis, LA, and Georgetown my home lakes. I've got a question that Bshiff has been hearing me talk about quite a bit but i figure i'd just ask the chumps for some help...Ive heard that there are smallmouths in lake georgetown, would like to know how true this is and if anybody knows anything such as lures and techniques or where to look for them at I would appreciate it...I've just been dying to catch a bronze. I plan on getting on it sometime after somerville. Thanks chumps P.S. I always enjoy company on the boat, If any of the chumps would like to hop aboard with me and hit a few lakes in ATX sometime it would be a pleasure, just let me know, thanks again.

I read a post on ABF a while back about smallies on Gtown. I've never been on the lake though. My brother & I caught a couple of 4.5-5 #ers on stillhouse last year. It is just North of Austin and worth the trip.

I caught 1 bronze in my life on a jerkbait... I did read on TTF this spring about guys hammerin smallies on jerkbaits and swimjigs... I would figure a dropshot would be the ticket. Good luck and I'll def hit you up on the offer, I've never been on Gtown..... Z

You want a good shot at some smallies, go a little more north to Belton Lake.
