Went slumming Saturday 6:00 am-12:30pm. Top water bite in the morning was the best I've had in a while. Caught a 4 and two 3 1/2's plus several other smaller fish on the frog. Then moved over and fished the shakey head in four different spots. Shakey head bite was steady until I couldn't stand the heat any longer. Caught seven keepers total plus a bunch of dinks.
Hydrilla is coming back along with lily pads. It's getting to be the lake that it was before the drought conditions killed all of the vegetation. I think I'll be spending a little more time out there. Just hate trying to get the scum line off the boat afterward.
