Well I decided to run over to slummerville during the rain yesterday. When I left Giddings it was calm and raining. When I pulled up to the boat ramp at rocky it was pouring and 35+ mph winds. so i turned aroun to go home thinking they would give me a rain check...wrong. The old man in the booth told me he could not, so I desided to go to Yeague park since the ramp was protected. Good thing I did.
Long story short and to not give away to much info before next week, I weighed in 4 fish for close to 13 pounds and had a fish close to double digits spit my bait back at me at the boat which would have put me over 20#'s. I won the T.
That Lake is awesome right now. I'm sure these super hot days will screw my bite up..oh well...
