I have a ZX 225 with a 225 HPDI on it and I am trying to find a prop that will get me more speed without losing my hole shot. I am running a VMAX 25 pitch T1 on it and it tops out at 65. I would like to get about 70 out of the boat. Any info is appreciated. Thanks !!!!JUG!!!!

Jug, Are your RPM #s at WOT where they should be for that motor?. Are you thinking of re pitching this series of prop or are you considering changing to a different mfr and prop? While I don't have any useful prop experience on that particular boat and motor combination, I'll pass on the following........I once did the same search for better top end and I thought I was able to find a thin ,lightweight, heavily cupped, high performance prop that improved my top speed without compromising my hole shot. But after a couple of seasons of use, I just about went bankrupt keeping that fast prop refurbished and reconditioned after dinging it through every stump filled lakes I fish here in East Central Texas. If it ever even just touched a stump at idle, it would bend. So, it you find the prop giving you the performance #'s you want and it gets that performance from being a thin Stainless steel cupped prop, be ready to often switch it to a spare prop for those lakes that we fish on that have lots of stumps. Good Luck and I'll see you on the tournament waters.....I'll be in the boat running a couple minutes behind you.
