March Tournament - Choke Canyon Reservoir The March Tournament is sure to be an exciting trip for the Bass Chumps as they head to Choke Canyon Reservoir in search of monster bass. The lake has produced Seven Share a Lunker Bass in the last two years. Two of the bass came during March last year, one of which came exactly one year prior to our tournament date. Date: March 20, 2010
Location: Choke Canyon Reservoir - Calliham State Park
Time: Safe Light - 3:00 pm
Entry Fee: $20 plus $5 for Big Bass |

Places to stay? With weather forecast beautiful as it is, I'm considering camping next to the water and hungry gators at Callliham S.P.. Last time there, all the hogs, deer and unidentified in the dark brush critters roaming the campgrounds kept me and especially my dog great company at night...kinda like sleeping in a zoo and not having to walk around to get to see it all.
And anybody going down Thursday and pre-fishing Friday?

I will be going down on Friday. I have to wait for mike to get off work unless I can find him another ride. Some of the other boys are headed down friday moring early.  !!!!JUG!!!! |

UPDATE: Read New weather forcast....I'm reconsidering camping out and instead be stayin downtown a the Three Rivers Econo Lodge Motel, Raquet Club and Resort.  ......the Three Rivers, TX Forecast now reads...winds will be pushing about 20MPH on Friday and Saturday. |

Hey Jerry,
Bucky and Bage will be leaving Giddings at 4 a.m. on Fri and pre-fishing on Fri. Warren and Zdawg are already there! Hope we find some fish and less wind!

The Chumps represented.....Jug and Mike 1st with 5.33 Big Bass over. Z and I were in 2nd. The Chumps took in $640 total last night with 1st and 2nd places.... ;D ;D A total of 20 boats were out on the windy night. Looks like we are going to have great turn outs each week. If you didnt make it hope to see you soon.
