Well Jake and I were located on Conroe today along with over 500 other extremely dedicated anglers. This was a new record!!!!...........This was the roughest water I have driven in. With the winds sustaining at 30 plus coming right down the gut of the lake, waves were 7 foot easy. When we left there were 2 boats pronounced dead that we knew of......with one being turned over and thrown onto the rocks of the dam. As for fishing.......Tough for us but apparently not others. We actually played it well with this one where we only lost out by ounces and with the waves like they were.....Stress was definately involved. There were a couple over ten with NUMEROUS 8's and 9's each hour. You can go to www.bigbasstour.com for results.
