Made it out to Inks Lake today, pretty body of water, especially on a breezy one like today. Got there early, 6:15 or so and no action on a beautiful morning. Hauled in the first fish right around 8, when the wind started blowing and shortly after hooked up with one more little bass and one nicer one (a solid 2 lber) Seems like the fish were pretty shallow and tight to cover. Later on (after 11 or so) I had the only 3 fish and we started drifting in the wind jigging 1 oz spoons in 30', hooked up with a bunch of whites and 3 nice legal stripers in the livewell. The little bass both on a 3/8 oz blue/chrome rapala lipless and the nicer one on white/silver spinnerbait. Going out to Travis for an evening fish this week, will update then.

I love Inks Lake lwink......when I used to Coach in Burnet I was only about 10 minutes away and hit it all the time. Springtime along the cattails by the golfcourse was the ticket!! Full-moon at night too!

due to the wind we were unable to do too much shoreline fishing, which was too bad because I picked up all three of those bass in only about 30 minutes of hitting the shoreline, and the guy I was with was more into the whites/stripers, which was fun too. Would like to get back there and fish some more docks/shoreline sometime I think.
