I am going to go ahead and put a little report down but hopefully my man Corey can come put up a couple pics soon. He came up here last night so we could hit the Big C this morning. Reached the water around 630 and caught fish all the way until we left at noon. This is the first time I didnt catch one fish on a plastic (didnt have to). When we left at noon our final count was at 19 with this including 2 catfish I caught on a crankbait. The only two lures used today were spinnerbaits and crankbaits. I threw the swimbait only a couple times with no takers. The water was very muddy due to a huge storm that came through last night so it wasnt a swimbait day. All in all a tremendous day ending with the world famous fajitas at Fajita Jacks.

Ill put it like this....When we left the apartment at 530 it was already rocking at a strong 15. I think I sold Corey on Skeeters and my old Nitro would probably still be out there.

Dude. last time I was on Conroe was a couple years ago in Old Blue  ...... I fished around the light house and up from there...prob had 5 fish total, not much size....It used to be my in-laws fav lake...We wanna try to go this summer some time. I'll be sure to call you for a guided trip. Might have to use my Kitty though cause last time I was in a Skeet, we got caught in a fog and took us 2 hrs to get back to the ramp.........at FAYETTE!!!!!! ;D Z  |

It is actually a Rockhard Formulations box loaded with more Reaction Strike swimbaits.
But I tell the truth on here.....maybe not on ABF.....But it was too muddy for my swims otherwise I would have some more pics for ya

I gotta say that was a lot of fun, i think i'm spoiled from my first trip even with hurricane winds. Cant wait to go back, nuff said
