Horsepen Creek 02-08-09

Jake from American Rodsmith and I decided to build some fish habitat today at the shop.........Of course we got sidetracked with fishing.

We decided to go down to this tiny creek that runs through houston to katy and see if pro Bud Pruitt was telling the truth.

Well he was............







Our best five went 15lbs EASY and as you can see, you can d**n near jump across this tiny thing. Fish seemed to want only one bait......

It was even windy down there!!!!!

But didnt have to beat myself up in any waves and that is priceless!!!!

Dang, thats pretty sweet. I would never expect a fish to live in that. Nice little spot. ;D
