The 2009 schedule above says that we will be fishing Lake Austin on April 18th but the home page says it will be on the 25th. The 25th is the same day as CAST FOR KIDS. I have a commitmit to be at cast for kids. I just need to know when the austin tournament will be so i know if i can be there are not. !!!!JUG!!!!

We had a couple of guys who can't make it on the 18th.........so we thought we might try the 25th in an effort to get everyone there. However, with the Cast for Kids and FOM that day, we either have to go back to the 18th and lose a few folks, or if possible.........see if anyone has an objection to fishing on Sunday the 26th...........Sunday on Lake Austin is ALOT better as far as boat traffic goes!! Let's kick that around, and if it doesn't work out, then we'll have to settle on the 18th with a smaller crowd.

Although I'd prefer not to fish on Sunday, I'm flexible and will fish whenever we can get the most guys there even if it is on a Sunday.

I dont mind moving it to Sunday, will you move Conroe to Sunday if I cant get free Sat. Really though why set a date at all. I dont know who is not going to be able to make it, and it sucks, I just dont remember any of you talking about moving the Conroe T for me when I announced that I would not be able to make it......I'm just playing devels advocate and really dont care. mo peolpe is mo money. But really we set the schedule very early this year so everyone who wanted to fish it could get it on their schedules. Anyway on a side note I think Kubiak might try to fish the Austin T and he will not fish on Sundays, nor the guy that was planning on fishing on the back of his boat.

Look the move was for me.........My dad is getting married that day and Mike was nice enough to try to move it.
I had no idea it was going to create such an uproar from so many.......Just keep it on the original date

The idea was to post the schedule well in advance so everybody could plan ahead. The issue has come up this time because one schedule was posted on the forum and another on the website...for reason Blake listed. Now that there are people who have a conflict with both schedules, which schedule do we follow? Either way we're excluding someone. Mike suggested having it on Sunday to try and avoid the conflict. Ultimately if everyone can't agree to Sunday then we'll go back to the original schedule which had the tournament on April 18th.

No uproar here. Tell me the date and time and I'll be there. Sunday is not ideal for me but I'll work with it. I would say unless the majority of guys can't go on Sunday the 19th. That it needs to stay the same. Maybe some of the wake boarders go to church and the lake will be quit till noon.

While we are looking at changing dates I'm sure mike s. Would like us the change Conroe to Sunday so he can make it since his wires g'day is sat and he is having to miss it. Ofcourse by him missing atleast he doesn't have to be in the same boat watching jug beat all of us....

Look just leave it the same and good luck to all...........If we change austin, just like what is already happening, everyone is going to want to change everything else.......therefore whats the use of even having a schedule.
Keep it the same as it was.........Good luck to everyone.....Ill see ya at conroe

Dude, I guess I'm loosing more holes on Conroe for voicing my opinion here . I would like to work it out to get you to fish on Austin, and if every body is ok with it lets move it to Sunday. I just sets a precident. Actually like Shane said the boards should be a little later to go into action on Sunday, so it might be a little easier fishing not fighting them.

I'll fish Sunday. It don't matter to me. It's all about fun and it's more fun with more. I don't even know how to get to the lake yet. Give me an extra day to get there and I might even find a place to fish.

So are we moving the Tourney to Sunday? I dont think any really care. The only thing I see is that the fishermen on Sat will pound the lake a little, but the wake boards and rec boats should give us a little more time before they make their presence on Sun.
