This is very different from the BASS fed...This is like the old Honey Hole Top Six where our top six anglers (3Pro & 3 Co) would fish as a team against other clubs. Who would like to see the Chumps whoop ass and join this for 2009?

Seems like a good idea. Would make things more interesting, but need more details. I've been trying to do some research...Each member has to belong to the FLW. Which means $15 dues to join and possibly state dues on top. I sent an email off to the state president to find out more. Mike and I both heard from the state pres. It seems like a good ideal. A slight increase in dues, but you get a chance to fish in the top six tournament against other clubs. There are some other benefits such as Liability Ins. which should cover the club/members/officers in the event of some kind of accident at a club sponsored tournament/activity or from a lawsuit. Plus who knows maybe one of us can qualify to fish with the big boys  I'm in... |

And dont let anyone misunderstand.........
The up in fees wont be because the Chumps.....you will just have to become a member of FLW so you will get the magazine and all sorts of cool benefits.
During the year the chumps can have a raffle to raise money where we can reward the top six with a free top six tourney and maybe some money for rooms etc
