I'm Luke, a world traveler these days (seems like it at least). I've been transplanted to Austin and am looking for housing right now, hope to be a more permanent resident in about a month. I've been fishing since I've been walking, mostly northern species of fish, but had my first Texas Bass experience recently and fell in love with the fishing here. Which brings me here, I know about 3 people in Texas right now, the only one who fishes is several hours away so I'm looking for some good local(ish) guys who enjoy getting out on the water and chasing fish. Hope to get to know a few or more of you once the move is complete and have some good times, good fishing (every now and then at least), and learn more about the fishing down here. Looks like you have a great club, and I look forward to learning more about your organization soon.

Welcome to the site. Not as much activity going on this time of year. Things will pick up once hunting season ends and the fish start to get ready to spawn.

January can be a very good month for pre-spawn and fish on beds especially later in the month on power plant lakes like Fayette and Bastrop.
