Shane if you could "Sticky" this thread it might help us all get to know each other a little better. It's just a quick intro as to where you are from, lakes you fish, club you're associated with, what your fishing strengths are, and even what you do for a living. "Lurkers" are people who don't post and just read all the threads. It's not meant to be derogatory. And we want everyone's imput on any old or new subject. I'm always eager to learn, as are most(except for BigDub ;D he knows all  ). I'm Zdawg, live in Bastrop. Fish mainly Lake Bastrop. I am a BassChump and work in Giddings. I roll in a '97 white and maroon Basscat Jag. Strength on the lake is top water with braid cause it's easy and after a few refreshments they better be schooling!!!  Z  |

I'm big dub, live in Giddings, fish strop, fayette, and am being forced to fish slummerville b/c bucky thinks we need to fish a chumps t there . I drive a 04 Couger, and my fishing stength is that I pick good partner in team tourney's..... ;D |

I am Nitro Shane. I am from Giddings. I fish out of a 2006 Nitro 882 w/a 150 merc.
Being the technogeek that I am, I am the administrator of this message board.
I fish mainly Fayette & Somerville, but Stillhouse is my new favorite lake. My strength is finese and crankbait fishing. I love catching big fish on spinning gear, hearing them rip drag, and playing them until I can get them in the net.

I am TxBucky also from Giddings. I fish out of a "mini" boat compared to the rest of the "chumps", a Triton 176 with 115 Optimax........but don't let the size fool you, ha.......I love Fayette, Bastrop, Lake Austin and Somerville. If I can get a Spinnerbait bite going, then look out........Oh and my other fav is the Tiki Bamboo.............fished wacky style!

I AM thelegendbshiff I am currently located in Jersey Village and when I am not fishing I am a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. I grew up on Fayette so I consider that my backyard lake but however I find myself fishing Amistad and Falcon very often. I have also been spending time on Conroe now that my boat is there. I consider my strengths as flipping/pitching/sight fishing and chunking huge swimbaits. Just a young buck trying to catch his dream but because of local bullies known as SHELL, VALERO and EXXON I dont know whats gonna happen.
Due to these bullies I am not going to be doing any prefishing for our tourney......Just gonna close my eyes and swing away baby

Dude, you're not the only one goin in blind. I think all but Big Dub will be flyin blind. He's the only one that has and will pre-fish Sville. I won't waste my time. Even if we win we won't make enough to break even on gas..... I'll call you about the American rod you have for me!!! Z |

I am the 10Man.....work and live in Bastrop...I roll in my own 78 Tri-Hull Kingfisher but have been known to ride in a '07 Legend now and then....I like the topwater and spinner bite and am working on the rest....fish Bastrop the most and getting to know Fayette and Stillhouse....I am sponsored by Luna Concrete Construction and ANW Inc....my goal is to get some fancy pictures under my name like you guys got.....
