Well, probably on the 22nd if most can make it................how about either Somerville or Coleto...................Somerville might draw a good crowd for the final tourney........Coleto might be pretty dang good in the fall..............

BTW..........after this last tourney of the year.......we need a "BassChumps" Christmas Party to crown the 1st ever angler of the year and plan for next year! Not to mention...............listening to the "getic" one can be quite fun after a few BL Limes!

So I just had to explain to Amanda what was so funny that it made me tear up.......I just couldnt help myself when I read about the Getic one...........
Ok well seeing as how I dont have any chance whatsoever to win AOY I dont think I will make it out to a 2 foot low Slummerville.
Its nothing against the club but I have been driving about twice as far to every tourney for this club. It was funny to see yalls faces when I would mention Conroe because it was so far. But what most people didnt realize was I am making that drive to EVERY SINGLE tourney and then some. Like I said, nothing against yall boys.....guess I will fight for Conroe again next year.
BUT.......I do want to know when our Xmas meeting will be. I would like to see us enter the top six program I posted earlier.

Well with my trip to Choke on thanksgiving weekend I dont think my account would allow a trip like that.
Let me ask you this.........Isnt Coleto farther from you than Conroe?
Im not asking for Conroe for this tourney because I dont want it to come here just cause of me but it was always too far.....but Coleto is just as far if not farther.

I wouldn't even know where to put the boat in.........not against it in the future if I have time to pre-fish..........I'm sure its a great lake, just wouldn't have a clue and for safety reasons it might be tough.......I'm not sure how many would come??? However, we need YOU at the last tourney of the year!!

We need to generate some interest going into next year. That is why I thought Somerville was a logical choice even though it is tough, tough, tough this time of year. Well like I said before I am not wanting it at Conroe right now because thats not the way I want it done.
Its fine to have it at Somerville............But
We need to have some flavor to this club's trails........a year long trail of sommerville, coleto, travis and austin with the championship at sommerville because its convenient will get OLD.
A "bass club" is to have a good time, share some information, visit new bodies of water with an overall purpose to make everyone better.
Yes maybe some of you have never been to Conroe......Well you know what? My first tournament in the Lee County Bass Club was at Travis and I had never been there before..EVER....Believe it or not I won that sucker.
If members wont attend tournaments because they are not located in their backyard then we need new members.
Didnt mean to write a freaking essay but I just wanted to share my thoughts on not being afraid to add new waters to next years program.

I agree that we need to have some variety and the first time I fished Coleto, Lake Austin, and Travis were in Chumps tournaments. I won't complain because I've had a good time. Although, I've donated too much money to Bucky.
We need to sit down and set up a schedule of where we are going next year ahead of time and stick to it. That way people can make plans, prefish or not and we don't have this same debate every month.
