Well I neded to see if my boat would run since I hadnt had it out since the Lake Austin T. So i got on the water about 1:30
Note: Always remember to check to make sure your oil tank is full. I made it al the way to the d**n and my boat started beebing, and wouldn't stop. I had to basically idle back to Oak thicket. But on my way back I fished a little.
I picked up a nic 3lb chunk on the end of the baffle dike on a shaky head. Had to more misses. I then idled to the cove just left of Oak thicket and began to flip a black and blue beever in the reeds. After I caught 3 nice 4lbers on the beever(which I ran out of that color), I flipped a motor oil color beever and caught one more. I then tried to flip a rattle snake with no luck. Boated the trailer at 2:45 and left for home. Not to bad for a little over a hour of fishing.
Water Temp was 84-87ish, wind was calm, water looked awesome.
