Ike puts a beatdown on April Plaza -- PICS

As much of you guys know Ike has punked the houston area.

Im sure most of you know April Plaza Marina on hwy105 is the main spot for tourneys and such. Here is a pic



Now here is what it looks like now......Pic taken by me as we were fishing and the lake is supposedly off limits...oops

It is a super sad sight as there are tons of boats sitting halfway in the water or sunk. The picture here is actually one row of boat slips twisted on top of the second row.

That along with the pictures of the Gulf coast is sad to see. It'll take a few years for many areas to recover.

We got lucky here and dodged the bullet . Because just a couple days before it hit, the strorm was projected to roll right through here. We would have most likely had some 90+mph winds.
