All right Sissy Stickers...I like using fluorocarbon on my spinning reels, but I've had alot of trouble with line twist. Which fluorocarbon is best at limiting line twist?

I call BS on flouros that won't twist. I think they all will(or might). I'm using PLine 8 and 10lb test this spring/summer. I haven't had a single problem with this brand. I've caught up to a 4.5-5ish on it, ripping drag(not as bad as your hawg on Shouse!!!) and it works just fine. I want to try 2-3 differtent brands these next couple of months and 2-3 next spring/summer. So...throw out some brands that I can try out that you guys have used. Just bought Suffix for next week...Dang I don't think I even came close to answering your question....... ;D ;D Z

I've tried Pline, Trilene, seaguar, and Vanish. Vanish is the worst line overall. Trilene the worst for line twist. IMO Seaguar is the best overall.

Pline or BPS is the only type I use. Never had a problem

Overall the Seaguar Ivisx is the best thing available.
Many people talk about other brands but actually compared to Invisx they suck!
Coming in a very close second is Sunline and Izorline

I've only caught a couple of fish, and, I've only used it 2 weeks. But, Seaguar is smooth dude!!! I've yet to catch one over 5lbs with it but so far so good. Only difference between Pline and SG that I found is that SG doesn't crimp up like Pline or twist after the cast like Pline. Just a little smoother. I'd still fish Pline though but SG is pretty d**n good. My .02 Z

I agree on the Seaguar. It is the smoothest I have used. I haven't had a twist with it yet. It seems like the line diameter is a little less for the same # Pline.

I know this is a joke, but I used to just tie a fluro leader on braid. Never had line twist or break at the knot. I just get tired of retying the leader-not quite as simple as a palomar knot.

I've done it plenty times myself. I like the Albright Knot. The joke is 50# braid is about as close as Bucky is going to get to 6# fluro on a spinning reel
