Well, since nobody goes fishin' anymore...we might as well talk a litte football. So here's my pre-season picks in the Big XII...
Big XII South:
1. OU.......11-1 overall
2. Texas Tech......10-2 with 19 starters back they're good! Leach's best year ever and he gets a better job, leaving the "tortilla sand flats".
3. Texas A&M......9-3 with easy sched and losses to OU, Tech , Colorado or OSU....don't play Kansas, Mizzou or NEB this year!! Sherman's got the Off. rollin' and if the LB's improve at all, they will have a nice year!!
4. Texas............8-4 the horns are down in more ways than one. They go 4-0 in non-conf. and take losses to OU, Tech, either Missouri or Kansas and A&M (Ags just have their # lately) Horns have brutal Conf. schedule and are over-rated!!
5. OSU........."I'm a man, I'm 40".....Mike Gundy is on his way out!
6. Baylor...........who cares!!
Missouri wins the North and the Big XII Championship over OU and plays for the MNC!!

Well sorry Aggie fans but Im not going to let this one slide.......
If Bage knew how to type Im sure he'd be right here with me.
If you think tech and a&m is going to be ahead of Texas your nuts......A&M, well they have an easy schedule, woopty doo....outside of Kyle field they are about as useful as poopy flavored lolly pop.
Tech has a rediculous offense this is true....they liable to score 50 points a game....But they better because they have never had a defense minded team and I dont see it changing now

Well if we are going to go to the past then lets bring up Roses......
Or we can just look at A&M's consistency at being average with a more than easy schedule every year.

2005 5-6
2004 7-5
2003 4-8
2002 6-6
2001 8-4
2000 7-5

I'm an Aggie fan and I'm sure that this argument will go forwards but there is one thing you can count on...No matter how you look at it by the time the A+M and Texas game rolls around it will only matter to Aggie and longhorn fans. It will otherwise be irrelevant. Tech and Kansas will play in the championship with the winner going to a BCS bowl... By tha way A+M over Texas by 2 touchdowns  |

I just got back from the worst home loss in A&M history......no way they can lose to Ark. State at home......I must have been drinking all that maroon kool aid i was reading about how good they were gonna be........but if we can't be Ark. State then we might win 4 games this year........at best, maybe...........the defense is absolutely the worst I've seen at A&M EVER.......including the 77-0 loss to OU in Fran's first year. I still think Texas loses 4 games this year, but won't lose to us and we will be lucky to win 4. I think we go 1-3 to start the year, with our only win in non-conf. over Army!

It ain't pretty!! Play callin' was downright pitiful.........4th and 1 in the 1st half and we run outside on a jr. high sweep and get stuffed....3rd and 14 in the second half, and we RUN the sweep for no gain........I expected better, and I'm hopin' that Sherman gets the ship headed in the right direction! The D gave up over 400 yards and Ark. State did not have one returning lineman from last year...............my analyses......might as well go fishin' every SAT. cause it will not be fun to watch! Oh, and someone please call Bage and tell him to quit callin' me every hour to tell me "we suck".......all I can do is tell him the truth, which is we've sucked the last two years too, and still managed to BEAT TEXAS!!
