Decided to run over to Fayette and check for schoolies on Wed. evening. Had the entire lake all to myself, not even another boat in the parking lot!! Rolled into Johnnies Cove (no curse this time) around 6:30 p.m. and by 6:45 school was in session! They lasted until about 8:10 and I caught 11. They wouldn't touch my fluke or spoon, so I tied on a shad colored Zara Spook JR. and got "hammered". As soon as it hit the water they were all over it! Stayed until about 9:00 under an awesome moon and caught 3 more on my go-to night bait for a total of 14!! ;D

Nope Corey, curse aint' totally over. I took my dad back tonight and we caught about a dozen on spook jr.s. But, he got hooked in the leg when he flipped one in the boat and then reached for it and it jumped and got him. But, no ER, we got it pulled out. There were 5 boats in there today, and one guy was killin' them on, get this, a white speck rig - reeling it back thru the school.
