In celibration of yesturdays holiday I decided to take off and head to fayette with a buddy. We fished from 9:30 till 5. I have fished faytte more than most folks and have never seen the wind as bad as it was yesturday. 40+ mph gust. Early on we Criged a few 3 lbders up in the wind. One on the dam and one on hog point. We then went to 3 fingers to get some relief from teh wind and I caught a 4+ on a rattle trap. We then started to flip the reeds and managed 12 or so more. all nice chunks but no big girls. We were still catching buck bass on the beds. I dont think the big girls have moved shallow yet, water temps were 62-64. so it is real close
